kind of like august here at the point. the lots are virtually empty as everybody is in candlestick as the game is underway. thousands are tailgaters converged on the stadium for four hours this afternoon, join bid officers on patrol, on fight, on bikes, police vehicles. some you wouldn't recognize because they were addressed like fans from san francisco and green bay. undercover officers started this morning con confiscating thousas of dollars in bootleg nfl maryland. officers were grabbing trunkles of the stuff. woe found the opposing fans well-behaved. >> the 49ers and when the packers are in there, always. >> how about you? >> i had season tickets for 32 years, four or them. the first time in nine years i've been. i lost my husband. i had to give my tickets up. darn it. i watch them all the time. >> those two are related.

i tried to get them trash talking but could not. it was warmer in the afternoon when the sunday is out. now it's dark and temperatures are expected to be in the low to mid-40s through the game. a lot of people now bringing out the layers and kind of drinking to stay warm. police are out here looking for scalpers, no numbers how many people might have been charged or arrested because of bad behavior. >> now to abc7 news sergio quintana live with fans enjoying the game at kezar pub. >> this is a second option if you can get in because this place is packed to the gills with football fans. we tried to make our way into the bar and we didn't make it because there are so many people here, geared up for the game.

there are even a few packers fans who jammed themselves in among the 49ers faithful. i talked with two new fans from opposing teams. they'll be watching the game together thanks to mutual friends. >> my friend told me he had a surprise for me because he likes to see me in green, so he invited me. >> i'm just going to keep my mouth shut and then at the end of the day i'll be smiling. >> i did manage to talk with a few friend who were lucky enough to have tickets to the big game. more than 500 writers climbed aboard several buses headed to the came park. it will be cold out there but it's not going to be cold here at keys -- kezar pub because it is packed with people.

>> ama: i like the warm option. we want to see how you're enjoying the game. we'll be posting them at abc7 news.com and we might just show yours on the air. hundreds of people gathered to remember alyssa byrnes, the petaluma teen whose body was found in the snow? south lake tahoe last week. >> say thank you, two words just aren't enough. >> kevin byrnes fought back tears and expressed his deep gratitude at the memorial for his daughter. they donned pink, turning the high school gym into a sea of her favorite colors and shared memories of the 19-year-old. [laughter] >> alyssa's friends grief comes in waves, going between sorrow and joy, they know she would want them to choose the letter.

>> i don't want you guys to be sad anymore. >> i hate to say this brought us together but this brought us all together as a community, a family, friendship. it's amazing. ♪. reporter: the already tightknit community has green even closer as they reminisce on the girl remembered as lively, outgoing, bringing people together after death as she did in her life. >> if said this to a one of kid last night. my wife and i lost other daughter, and that's what we have gamed -- i don't know -- 150 kids. >> alyssa is being cremated and will be laid to rest privately by her family. a concert in her honor will be held saturday, february 23rd, with proceeds to a foundation. in petaluma, abc7 news. >> ama: oakland police tell us the four murders in the city

friday were all gang-related. three young men and a teenager were shot to death in a six hour spafnlt authorities have just begun their investigation and no arrests have been made so far. six people have been killed in 2013. >> a prayer march to end violence was held in san francisco today. one organizer said police are overwhelmed and need the community's help. >> police departments are not going to be able to stop the violence. their main focus is to go out and investigate it once it's happened. we as a community have to join together in order to try to stop the violence, because it's the only way it will stop is if we work together. >> marchers carried 65 crosses, one for each murder in 2012. >> still to come at 6:00. a huge turnout, possibly the biggest ever, for a bay area gun show. why so many people are stocking

>> organizers of a gun show in san francisco said fear accounted for the huge crowd today. hundreds lined up for the gun show. it was fear of restrictions, not of a danger of society, that drove some buyers. >> we need to get them now before they take them away. >> did you just buy this or have one already? >> i have three at home. this is the fourth. >> because obama wants to take everybody's guns away. so they're down here buying ammo, buying guns and getting ready for the next revolution. >> ama: critics point out the same thing was said prior to president obama's first election, adding that not once in four years has sage gun restriction ever been introduced. >> a famous san francisco 79-year-old watering hole is re-opening next month. the gold dust lounge lot its

i left them at home. and i should not have because petaluma is literally freezing tonight. or will be here in a few hours. petaluma getting ready for the coldest weekend of the year. jack frost is definitely in town tonight, and the cold blast of air, sure to get the attention of lots of people. this morning the frost was on the pumpkin, and lots of windshields, too. after a cold night and a deep freeze. tonight, even colder. and many people walking down petaluma boulevard were bundled up today for a cold snap tonight. many restaurants are expecting a light crowd, and tonight it's just too cold for lots of people to come out. that's why they expect very few customers. one visitor from ireland thought california was supposed to be warm and sunny. not so much. >> we appreciate sunshine during the day, which we don't get at home. >> but when the sun goes down?

year. inland, fairfield, antioch, 49. we had 50-degree weather from san rafael down towards san francisco and san jose, with clear sky. right now, down do 46 in san francisco. north bay, novato, 41. compare that to oakland's 51. 42 in antioch. 41 livermore, and 41 in san jose. here is a look at our forecast. we do have freeze warnings overnight. we'll touch on those in a moment. cold spell continues through sunday and then dry, warmer conditions, milder temperatures, return as we head into the first part of next week. just a recap. dark purple, the freeze warning in effect until 8:00 a.m. sunday. north bay, east bay, interior valley areas, santa clara valley. and the lighter purple, the frost advisory until 8:00 a.m. tomorrow. bay shoreline there. lows anywhere from the low to mid-30s. in fact here's a look at my

forecasted low. we may amend these a little bit at 11:00. but suffice to say, mid-to-upper 20s for the north bay and east bay. santa rosa, 27. 38 overnight in san francisco. 33. the freezing mark in oakland, and 31 overnight in san jose. >> today clear sky for most part, a little low cloudiness thanks to this system. it will push out of here. high pressure will strengthen storm we have another blast of cold air up here, the gulf of alaska, and this high is going to push that down so tomorrow, it's cold in some locations, cooler in other spots for sunday, and then as we get into monday, tuesday, wednesday, the high will relax a little bit and start to moderate the air a bit so temperatures will start to come up. so, here's a look at the time your highs for sunday. 50s for most locations. 53, santa rosa, we'll go 48 for

antioch. livermore, 49. 51 for san jose. half moon bay, 50 degrees. santa cruz, boardwalk 52. we'll keep it cooler inland, here's the seven-day forecast. notice the two more morning of cold temperatures, freezing temperatures. in fact, tomorrow -- monday morning could be just as cold as overnight tonight, early tomorrow morning, then things start to moderate. tuesday, wednesday, look for temperatures climbing up -- oh, my gosh, a heat wave, overnight lows into the 40s. that's good news. and then warm up as we head into the next week, and by the way, winter in the bay area, much different now than it was ten years ago. the abc7 news weather team and i are exploring decades of data to document how climate change is affecting weather here. we will also look at the effects of our microclimate. here's a preview. >> weather here in the bay area,
